Finding Faith
A Short Story by Eliza Freed
You've got to have faith…
A flat tire leaves college co-ed, Faith, on the side of a desolate road in New Mexico. Trapped, and fearing the ensuing murder her mother predicted when traveling across the country alone, Faith breaks the few rules remaining in her current life phase of recklessness.
She accepts help from a stranger she’s sure will be the death of her. But instead of a loner with homicidal tendencies, she’s found by Marco, a soldier who recently returned home from Afghanistan haunted by PTSD. Together, they find faith in an unlikely place.
